he is indeed given credit but fell off in recent times, derke fell off even harder at the same time, while aspas kept on pumping out all star numbers like a regular monday morning each match, hence why every pro right now says aspas is the goat

yeah it makes sense, aspas is the best player in terms of individual ability and i dont think its close. all the people who people claim challenge him, are either wildly inconsistent or fell off faster.
the thing is when goat debates come up, its never based on form ,its always based on achievement, and Chron has by far the most achievements and wins with every team.
