i wouldnt say that either, tarik literally said on stream when watching a fnatic comms video that he doesnt expect boaster to frag when hes micromanaging fnatic and what they do. the only reason fnatic is as successful as they are is because of boaster's insane igl

i mean at the end of the day it’s a fps game, I understand you’re going to get less kills as a IGL most of the time

but he’s 21-54 in his last 4 maps…,

you can’t call yourself successful if you didn’t qualify for madrid, bombed out of shanghai and already in losers and if you don’t atleast make top 5 can you really call it successful…….

yeah i get what ur saying, and obviously they would have an easier time if boaster could drop like 10-15 kills somewhat consistently, but his igl style just doesnt fit with getting a lot of kills, imo. obviously he still needs to get kills, but with the level of micromanaging that he does it shouldnt be expected that he drops insane performances

i think smokes suits him bc he can be out of the fight more especially on attack + he can make sure the smokes are always timed perfectly with his calls, also he has chronicle on his team so

honestly idk i dont think it would work with boasters method (pushing with the team, much more involved in fights, less passive) but it could be something to test and see how it works

Probably not. He has a more micromanaging style of IGLing that suits controller better because the role is more big-picture and is generally easier. Initiator has to really be in the fray which might be too distracting.

Also Chronicle is an undisputed star initiator player anyway

hes literally calling strats to set up alfa and derke to perform, sure derke and alfa have really good aim, but his calling sets them up in certain positions or timed pushes that allow them to take favorable fights

yeah he was, against th they just got outaimed + they made a bunch of mistakes you wouldn't really expect. without like hearing their comms or anything its impossible to know why those mistakes happened, watch the tmv video for lotus cuz it wasnt 100% boasters fault. fnatic just didnt really feel like themselves + boasters calling was probably off
