I NEED TECH HELP

Good mornin everyone
i have a laptop i borrowed from someone , didnt turn it on for 2 months as i wasn't home , it working perfectly fine last time i used it , tried to turn it on & i got this error " no boot device found press any key to reboot the machine " , the laptop is dell, i opened bios and it is detecting my HDD that has the OS , anyone faced this issue?
i searched a lot on yt and tried a lot of shit , none worked so far, i tried cxhangin the mode from legacy to uefi and other way around, and i'm sure the boot sequence is fine
