not at all, as long as you take action towards your goals, you will be ahead of 90% of the population. It's quite easy to be better than the majority of people as they don't do anything meaningful for themselves. Once you realize that and work towards your goals, you will respect yourself. Tbh, you should respect irrespective of that because people will only respect you once you respect yourself.
