im not saying the players are bad, for example koi has some excellent talent, but their chemistry has struggled for so long I dont see it working it. there are teams like loud or tyloo that did bad regionally but I dont believe need to be nuked. I dont see any of these rosters making an international event. c9 made play offs and drg made a masters so im not just choosing the worse teams
sidenote edit: idk what it is with koi and signing great talent and then team ends up being a bottom feeder
not a fan of "vo0kashu frag, we win game" strategy especially if the only reason you make masters is thanks to TE being big chokers. I mean china has so much talent in that region that dropping 3+ players seems perfectly reasonable. drg also had a terrible second stage. I would only maybe keep nicc but even then I would replace him, and I would definitely bring in either a new coach/igl because their valorant is pretty muddy and poor
I agree it's not a good strategy, but I also hate using a team being "chokers" to invalidate a team's win. The better of that game won, it doesn't matter if trace choked, they didn't deserve to be there. I mean I'm okay with 3 dropped, but I only really need Nizhao and Shion dropped and I'm happy, they did good this year. Their only really bad game in the second stage was against Wolves, that shit was awful, but everything else wasn't that bad. I do agree that they need a new coach/igl, that's their big thing that they need. But they were the 3/4 best team in china for most of the season, they don't need to be "nuked"
