champs 23 felt so much more hype than 24, the teams were at their peak, LOUD FNATIC EG PRX was a bliss to watch them play at their best

yeah like half of this games player base doesn't give af about the esports scene. they only care about the edater bundles and the e dater content. and valorant has appealed to that audience so much and they wont stop

Perhaps because champions this year started straight after stage 2 (not even at the end of the year) so there was not that much time to train and develop deep strats i guess. Riot even changed patch and map pool for this event. It was a speedrun of a season.

probably because this year hasn't had many storylines like last year. the rise villain arc of EG, the dominance of Fnatic, the new and more exciting version of PRX, the up and down year from LOUD, even the rise of EDG and kangkang. the crumbling of the former optic core, the group of death/disappointment. not much storylines happen this year compare to last year
