Why is there no Astralis in Valorant

like every single team that you'd think is about to make a dynasty (example):
-SEN
-GMB
-OPTIC
-LOUD
-FNATIC
-EG
-GENG

just get immediately washed right after winning a tournament (with the exception of FNC (no SEN doesn't count bc they had to make a whole new roster around tenz after like 7 attempts))

like why no astralis like team?

meta changes too fast (agents and map pool)

geng was the only team this year to control the entire 7 map pool which is why they were so dominant

then they lost their best map and got thrown a new one

incredibly hard to maintain consistency amongst these changes

idk why they didn't ban lotus against SEN, I've seen it time and time again that asian teams are DOGSHIT against NA teams on lotus

both GenG and PRX have this braindead delusion that they can beat NA on it for some reason.

not to mention GenG's 0 iq map pick was the one map where SEN totally shit on them and sent them home on madrid (Icebox)

at the end of the day you don’t see their scrims and can’t really tell why they might be confident in some picks

i did think the upset was very likely the second i saw the map picks tho. it is what it is
