Champs Seoul is empty

I got a feeling that the Champs venues are empty. I will explain why.

During games crowd seems suspiciously quiet. I genuinely hear more people during regular Americas matches. They also barely show the public on camera and the few times that they do it's really zoomed in to a group of very few people. There was this one shot where they zoomed in on 3 people and there were like 7 empty seats around them. If that's the "groups" they choose to show on camera I can't imagine the space they aren't showing. Finally, you know how they usually invite streamers and more to co-stream from the venue? Many streamers were told last minute to actually not go which seems odd. My theory is that they actually did that so viewers in watch parties wouldn't notice how empty the venue actually is during games.

Not a good look for what's supposed to be the biggest Valorant tournament of the year. At least online viewership is good I guess

this event has a lack of aura
I think they move out of this venue for playoffs, so hopefully it will be better then

All this theory will be proven wrong if there's are photos of the venue and crowds from the viewers pov. Offline viewers , where's your input on this?

I'm saying, it's like saying Americas is always full and you only show the crowd during SEN games or Lock-in whenever a Brazilian team played. It's obvious it'll be filled if the home team is playing.

Like, I'd love to see the attendance during EDG vs FUT for example

Is there a vid when there's a non Korean team playing? You'd expect to have a full arena during the opener and the home team playing

the english broadcast mutes the crowd for some reason. you can hear them better on the korean/japanese channels

they did this in Shanghai too, and everyone dogged on them for it so they finally turned it up. Idk why they went back to having them turned down

Guys I have a question. Does every masters have different TO? or when it comes to masters riot handles everything?

Nope, all international events are done by riot, the main USA one.
For regional splits, that region's riot division is responsible

Why are they so inconsistent in their streams lol.

I believe for broadcast in different languages, the regional division is responsible. Like for Korean or japanese broadcast, riot pacific handles it

Int'l events are handled by riot, regional leagues are also handled by them but each region manages their own, challengers are handled by TOs

a lot of ppl aren't really gonna watch or come see these first couple of games. Playoffs is when ppl start caring

Its definitely empty for non Korean teams, you can see it at the end of trace vs vit

That’s why they should host every event in NA, the home of valorant

heard the last public train leaves during the second match of the day and most Korean people need it because they don't have a car and need to call taxi if they missed the train

i've also heard this -- just a big organizational fuckup, not even the audience's fault

Bro it's not midnight yet, or is it watching too much anime severely clouds my judgment on what time the actual last train is 😭

its true, most of the match except GenG/ DRX are empty
Even the GenG and DRX match, the stadium isn't fully packed
