any team has a chance to win, even the “worst” teams. i might’ve said it poorly but i don’t think fpx would’ve been the clear winner as alot of people proclaim on this site, i know i have an 0pt0c flair (12-5 washed billibilli saadhak 1v5 losing haven to gambit when they didn’t even practice it once cove cgrs shorty cauanzin crashes right click) but people shouldn’t be taking away optics accomplishments just cause of that, like i said they played against LOUD twice and won a hard fought victory

I agree that fpx are not a clear winner but I think overall eg at that time nor prx had a worse chance to win than fpx would against optic. Overall if a team wins a LAN event they deserve the win.

there's definitely an asterisk on reyk, but it's a small one due to what happened in istanbul (and the next year cuz the nrg core has been better ever since, even though they both suck now lol). Tokyo has a champs MVP and pacific MVP sized asterisk on it. And PRX has outperformed FNC at the next 3 events (even with the monyet iteration), so yeah, not a good look.

lot of people saying fnatic would’ve won champs if they didn’t face loud as if they didn’t get fucked losing 1-13 first map to drx (they won the series but it showed a lot of gaps) not realizing eg wasn’t even close to their tokyo form and their players were peaking at the right time

The truth is all three teams that placed above Fnatic were better teams. EG especially was never gonna lose like that, and it's not speculation, it actually happened, they played those teams, we saw what they did to DRX, etc.
