give up, long distance relationships have an extremely low chance of working and I can guarantee you're not him. hope this helps 👍

Its unhealthy for people in my opinion. I've had numerous friends who were in those, and their relationships either stagnated and they just eventually get bored of each other or they get so mentally broken down and depressed, it affects them badly on a daily basis.

Obviously the exception to this is if you already know each other and have met each other in real life and are NOW in a long distance situation. But for the majority who just meet and are doing everything online, simply not worth it and unhealthy for you in the long run.

How long have you been dating ?

Is moving in together an option? feel like this is a must eventually if it’s long distance

damn if you don’t mind me asking why so long?

For me that’s like marriage time, I think if it was me i’d like to be moved in by a year or 2.

most couples started off by meeting from an event or going to the same school, and then both need to go their college or home at different cities, states, or even countries... most people

Hey man, I’m single, but I have a younger sibling who’s in a relationship, and what I am sure about is that love is a powerful emotion that is hard to get rid of. If you love her and she loves you then there’s no doubt that it’s going to work out. It only seems difficult because lots of people don’t find their soulmates through long distance, but remember that not all face to face relationships work out either.
tldr: true love knows no bounds and conquers all, whether it be a short stroll to their house or a flight across the world

Communicate daily (chat, vidcalls sometimes), and have a tangible plan for when we can meet again (every yr or few months or so). We sometimes ate together on vidcall & play games together. If possible maybe send each other food/gifts sometimes. What I didn't but should've: know emergency contacts in the other end if things go south.

I cant and wont speak for you but personally I can never go through with a long-distance relationship. You simply just dont know whats happening on the other half of the world. I would much rather prefer to be in a relationship with someone I could see everyday, not to mention the timezone differences. It's just impractical, and very high maintenance. But if ur comfortable with it go for it
