watching curry's controller to radiant streams have actually helped me learn how to carry. they're kinda ass but the content is pretty helpful to learn how to set yourself up while not being a useless baiter
to be fair, it's a lot harder to for a low elo player to learn from radiant games since they make a lot of midround decisions, make certain plays that rely on assumptions about their teammates and their opponents and how they're supposed to play.
Being self-sufficient is it's own skill, and seeing what's essentially a live tutorial on how to punish the stupid mistakes of gold players does have its learning value whereas you'd never get a chance to demonstrate that in a radiant lobby where those mistakes aren't made
most of the advice i've come across for smokes comes down to "don't smoke too shallow!" or "make sure you smoke at the right times" as if that remotely helps any of the other shit you encounter in-game. i one-trick brim and knowing how to fight against golds & disrespecting them has won me so many games
trust me to get out of low ranks all you need is good mechanics. You will learn the game sense if you watch pro games and playing a lot. Work on mechanics and you will then hard carry games and even if you lose if you drop like 25 and match MVP consistently the your mmr will go higher placing you in higher ranked lobbies which then gives more rr for a win and less for a loss.
