why does everyone have a hate boner for brazil?

i see too much hate directed towards brazil due to their poor performances internationally considering how well theyre doing relative to the actual esports infrastructure of the region
think about it
brazil:
-2 slots
-less than 20 salaried teams
-a total of 6 non vct tournaments since june with a combined prizepool of $17,338 USD
-around $200,000 USD prizepool across the entire VCT circuit
-the best team they can scrim in their region is fucking KRU (no offense i love KRU)
-5-14 in maps internationally

SEA:
-2 champions slots
-30+ salaried teams (i gave up counting)
-12 non VCT tournaments since june with a combined prizepool of $22,411 USD
-around $430,000 USD prizepool across the entire VCT circuit
-a lot of SEA teams scrim often with fucking VISION STRIKERS
-3-8 in maps internationally (similar ratio of maps won to maps lost as brazil)

but bronzil needs to get their slot taken, right?

i think SEA deserves their spots, theyve made insane progress considering how little relevance tac fps games had in the region historically and have probably made the most progress out of all of the minor regions. i just think that calling to have a spot removed from brazil when they already have shit esports infrastructure and arent even the clearcut worst region in the world is dumb

Well, first SEA is the region that have the biggest growing gaming industry. So it's understandable that RIOT paid big attention to SEA region.
And I get your point about you don't like people say that BR need to be taken the slot with all your reason. IMO BR in fps is still better than SEA (historically)
But the moment you compare both it's just not make sense.

And lastly people just troll bruh. Get a life.

Vision Strikers only scrim with top teams like Secret, X10 and PRX, because you gotta first prove yourself to them to earn a scrim against them.

Secondly, the experience difference Between SEA and Brazil is incredible, Brazil had decent performance in CS and other fps and opportunities as well but SEA's first time in FPS is probably Valorant.

Third as an Indian, I do understand being hated with the hype you create or talk big but can't do nothing at all.

South Asian(Indian) region had no vct circuit/Riot event and these 1.5 years earned them a single spot at a LCQ lol. When they got into the competition, they had to go up against some of the top Asian teams like Prx and Korean teams, but somehow they did incredibly well and performance was upto the mark considering they only got 2 tier 1 teams in the region excluding themselves and how every single team in the competition had experience and even LAN experience of playing against top of NA EU SEA teams.

Conclusion, given the experience and potential Brazil has, if they make some strats rather than relying on aim and defeat some NA / EU team rather than hardly winning against Japan and SEA teams, they hate will stop automatically like it did for Global Esports.
