is chronicle using true stretched cos thats what it look like on observer, or is he jsut using the in game stretch? also if it is true stretched, how is he doing it without 3rd party apps?

to my knowledge, it's probably just the broadcast stretching it

interesting, I thought the entire point of them not stretching 4:3 in-game was to remove it, I guess they've gone back on that

If the models aren't bigger (hence giving competitive advantage) then it's not true stretched.

It's not. First of all, going windowed mode won't give it a stretch to make the models big. Second of all, if it actually did that then it would be blatant competitive advantage. Riot explicitly said that they won't give us native true stretched. The only way to do it is through winexp, which is bannable.

Yes I did. The player models look the same as native. You can see it on YouTube, the difference between true stretched and Valorant stretch. What cender and chronicle is doing are fine by Riot, since both of those are native stretch.

cender too, everyone can use it but I think it might be giving them a competitive advantage, there is a reason models arent stretched no matter the resolution in valorant, both have been playing really well since they started using it too

There are a lot of advantages and disadvantages to it tbf. Like you get the advantage of the game models feeling bigger, and more confidence in crosshair placement, but you also have more input lag, a feeling of decreased FOV, and you have to play while not in full screen. Also something that isn't really a disadvantage or advantage is that it makes the game feel faster pace which some players prefer. I think that with its advantages and disadvantages it makes it overall fair, I think it is really more about how it makes the player feel kind of like the left handed gun vs the right.

Makes the models look bigger (heads look bigger) so it at least "feels" like its easier to get kills etc.. I think most valorant pros still play native tho, but if u look at pro cs there's almost no one playing on native. CS feels so much better on stretched.
