I think that we are at a point where even if FNS can call as well as he does he will lose still. Callers like Valyn, Boostio, Boo even while “less perfect” are able to shoot back and hence do not result in 4v5ing every 2nd map. He must learn to shoot back or never succeed.

The true “nrg fix” is find an igl that can shoot back LOL everyone with fns on roster but realistically he’s just not good enough of a shooter unfortunately

it's definitely harder to win with a non-shooting IGL but if he has 4 cracked shooters around him, he still could win.

he just needs to average like 0.8 K/D and make great calls with good reads

yes that was a different time, his team had immense firepower, but we are coming into an era where firepower is more and more common, and believe me I don't want to see it, why? because it means boaster will likely get cut. The era is changing, whether you like it or not.

I think he'll be fine for now, but 2-3 years down the line it'll be almost impossible unless they add like 20 agents and make the game way more complex

I like the guy but lets be real he’s shaky on good days, he went positive only a few maps after coming back. It’s just too much of a risk and massive liability especially with the teamfight centric meta we’re in right now. The amt of accomodations he’d need to win is just probably overkill

i mean it's not like he drops -30 every match, he does have some crazy series (the g2 one was atrocious) but usually he does well enough where that if he has 4 other people that shoot back, he can still find success

take nrg 2023 for example, sure they became bilibili victims at the end but even with him going negative every series they were still comfortably top 3 in the region because everyone else on the team had good aim
