so does india but india only has 1 team. sure india doesnt have many good teams but china is arguably on the same level. giving them their own region results in teams like edg stagnating bc they dont have proper competition.
The region's population is comparable to Americas and EMEA, its playerbase is heavy into esports, and the game is still new there so of course they're gonna be a bit behind. Give them a year or two and we'll have more than 2 internationally competitive Chinese teams.
Stop saying they’re “behind” Edg were playing in champs 22 a whole year before the game official release. All the china players were just playing on APAC server accounts.
