I think one of the stupidest VLR inventions to this day has to be the concept of a "fluke run".
Tournament teams qualified because they beat the other teams.
It's simple? Tournament formats are made so that qualified orgs deserve their spot.
So you can't say "well you didn't play anyone good", because they literally played a regular season in order to qualify?
A fluke is objectively a one time occurrence (for example if MIBR took a map vs SEN idk?) and not an entire tournament run.
The worst is when people say 'fluke run' for tournament winners who beat the most in-form teams of that time period, like this has to be the most braindead thing to say of all time.
