I remember that when he was with Akroma, his flag was Japan.
He is supposed to be a half-Japanese, half-French dual citizen, so it should have been fine to keep the Japanese flag originally. But why?

Japan doesn't allow dual citizenship. Fadezis reply somewhere Yotaa has JP citizenship document, so he's likely a french permanent residence.

What I want to say is that since he initially had the Japanese flag on VLR.gg, we can't really know which nationality he has obtained, can we?
Out of pure curiosity, I’m asking because disputes over nationality markers can arise within the JP community…

i think its the same as GE Russ
He is an NRI(Non-Resident Indian) afaik.... therefore the UK flag but still wont count as an import as he didnt play "under" the UK flag post franchising...

Maybe so. However, if the display is regulated by rules like an issue of Russ, I personally don't understand why they have the Japanese flag on Liquipedia (Maybe I'm just overthinking it.).

I'm a dual French-Japan citizen, born and living in France. JP doesn't allow dual citizenship, but France does. At 20, Japan required me to chose if I want to keep my JP citizenship or my FR citizenship. If I have chosen FR, I would have been stripped of my JP citizenship, while if I choose JP, (which I did) I can keep both because France can't strip me of my citizenship. De jure, I'm only Japanese for the Japanese gov but de facto, I'm a dual citizen.
