they are not flexible at all

cryo can only play jett + smokes like brim and astra (his gekko is not good)
asuna can only play raze + second entry initiators
bang can only play smokes
eeiu plays full time scan, he can play breach maybe too but asuna cant play sova so
boostio is actually flexible but he has to play sentinel cause no one else can

you might think this is fine because they are defined in their roles, just play them on comfy roles and its okay right?

not rlly because whenever they play a raze map solo controller (sunset) they are way worse and a player like cryo plays an off role
when they play haven they need to play this fucked ascent comp because asuna cant play breach or sova. and cryo and asuna both dont play neon

ascent, bind, haven, lotus, sunset, icebox
ascent: roles work perfect as i said
bind: roles work perfect as i said
icebox: roles work perfect as i said
lotus: roles arent terrible on this map but cryo would probably have to pick up omen. it also is their banned map, only played once this year

and i already said sunset and haven

they better be good on abyss because they are playing from behind on 3/6 maps already 🤷‍♂️
they have a similar issue to sentinels after madrid, very interesting the similarity between these teams.

Munchkin can only play viper+ second entry initiators
Karon can only play smokes
Lakia plays full time scan, he can play breach maybe too but Munchkin cant play sova so
Meteor is actually flexible but he has to play sentinel cause no one else can

I was trolling but I don't think player roles is the main issue for 100T. Look at EG last year, Demon1 and Jaw had to play off role depending on map rotations, tho 100T can make some minor adjustments in their sunset comp and Asuna can try out Neon. ( cryo looks very uncomfortable on the gekko)

i found your comment funny verstepping33, it was also thought provoking. despite it being a troll it had truth to it. i just wanted to defend my post because everyone thought it was stupid :(

i think eg roles were fine ngl, but with slight issues, not like 100t. truth is that many teams have slight role issues like this, and i think i was too dramatic when describing 100t roles. i also believe other great teams like optic had role problems.

The 100T right now has really similar playstyle and roles as EG last year. It's just they are all worse individually.

Terrible take this was a prep issue plain and simple. That's why every game went to overtime. They are the better team just behind on on map pool and agent changes. You can see it in their comps and in the way they had no idea how to deal with the neon

I thought the ideas they had for haven were solid even on defense. The neon/breach combo just had furia ahead of everything.

I just need one of them (other than Asuna) to play Breach tbh, preferably Eeiu. Literally could improve their Sunset, Haven and Lotus all at once. And Cryo needs to lock in with his Gecko bc his Astra/Brim is useless this Split since people will be banning their Bind now. Asuna can’t play Breach, Neon and Kayo all at the same time.
