If FNC dont win split again or get top 4 in champs, I think they dropping someone no? maybe coach or igl. (no hate on boaster)
Dont see a world where they drop boaster.
They would keep Leo for sure. Only internal issues could lead to him leaving.
Then theres different options to kick:
Derke has been overshadowed individually late last year and early this year. But tbf he has been their best player in shanghai. It feels like he is really heating up again. But maybe they have doubts over his consistency and want someone they deem more reliable?
Chronicle is very flexible and experienced but probably the weakest shooter of the 4 no boaster players (which is still strong tbf). But maybe they are just gonna freshen up a bit by replacing him with a cracked rookie?
Alfajer is individually incredible but he has had massive issues with his discipline that keeps costing them rounds. It like he just throws them away sometimes. Maybe they feel like 3 years have been enough and they want someone more disciplined from now on.
Personally i think if they make top 4-6 they will still try again with the lads next season.
boaster's calling has been very dry this year and i think he's very seriously struggled to adapt to the changes in meta from last year - the way he talks about the game is also quite outdated, the way he views ult usage is just purely wrong for instance
chronicle is for me the biggest issue when it comes to discipline and teamplay, i see significantly more overheat or solo plays from him compared to anyone else on the team
derke has dropped off somewhat in terms of form and has struggled with issues similar to chronicle, quite a lot of overheating in bad moments
you replace any of these three and the team could get better(i'd opt for boaster, his drop-off has been the sharpest from last year for me), alfa and leo are the only ones off the table
I heavily disagree on the mistakes part for chronicle. Alfajer has cost them by far the most rounds due to lacking discipline. Like its not even close.
Also Derke has been their best player the past few months. Leo was ahead before shanghai but derke cleared him at the event by a good margin. Admittedly he started the season off very weak. His kickoff was bad.
The midround calling was never the issues for fnc. Their macro has been mostly good. They lacked cohesion, fresh ideas, and discipline. Plus their shooting was a bit weaker across the board at the start of the season.
