Since lower bracket is essential and upper finals winner team needs some sort of advantage what other alternatives there could be. 2 map bans makes grand finals less fun/competitive .

yes it is, best team in the world should be good at all maps, being crybaby about banning maps is just admitting to being dogshit at the game imo, 2 map bans is fine, and there should always be a disadvantage for losing, makes no sense team can win every game and still be valued the same in a grand final as a team that lost. In CS its fine cuz you lose you are gone from playoffs, sure we have a lower bracket but therefore it makes sense for the team that hasnt lost yet to get a slight advantage, grand final should only be on "equal terms" if the teams have performed equally...which the lower bracket team has not.
The upper bracket team is actually 3-4 all time in finals. loud fnatic and geng won from uppers and optic fpx eg and sentinels won from lowers. the double ban is heavily overrated, because any team good enough to make the grand finals will have a strong enough map pool where that doesnt matter. heretics took the game to 5 with 2 bans against them and 2/3 maps they lost were ones they played
