Honestly I don't know any such case but I still think language issue shouldn't be that big of a problem for coaching if you have a assistant coach with the knowledge of game and translation skills.

can't execute a plan if your player doesn't fully understrand the language.
knowing japanese people doesn't express their feeling and though so much instead they just nod and accept their downfall.

It's one thing to translate comms to a player who doesn't speak the main language (ex. FPX and DRG), but having to translate the coach's plans? Yeah that shit's going nowhere
