All rivalries aside, G2 being a top 3 team in this event is pretty interesting and good for the competition. I believe this is their first big international event since they couldnt make it to Madrid but thats completely okay for a new team in VCT. So on their first go as an ascension team in an international event ending up TOP 3 is impressive. This should spice up all competition and hype the challenger teams up. This shows how important being promoted is.

A small question since i do not have info about the system. Do they relegated regardless? Without any condition? Is there a such rule? I heard Tarik said that they ll be relegated eventually by riot rules. If so this system makes no sense.

It doesn't suck, I really like the system, I think it's great. Also 1 year after that all teams contracts are up, and Riot can choose to replace a team like EG with G2 for example

They will be relegated after Champs 2025 no matter what because riot made a system focused on stability and money over a real system

A real system with pro/rel based on performance would never work because no org would commit to something that isn't guaranteed in esports

What do you mean is not guaranteed? Isn't that the purpose of the sports? Invest your money make a better team to make it guarantee. That should be the actual thing to commit to wdym?
