Many ppl in India play valo but for eSports follow up its bad all because of Bad decision by the org,
Like if we talk abt regional orgs like FUT-BBL-Turk,
Loud-Mibr-FUR-Brazil
GE went out of their way and created an As* lineUp dat rarely even represents their country.
So we can say like India had arnd 20-30k max viewership in 2022(which was supposed to increase EXPONENTIALLY)
Instead because of this, ppl lost interest in GE and Indian Valo as the 'aspect of India' got away
Adding to this the 7k ppl(frm India) which might follow VCT today, out of them I can guarantee you 6.5k hate GE

I think it's not just GE , even Enigma core 's performances in ascension hv hurt our viewership since they are all fair weather fans.
Also prior to that believe me or not, GE and VLT cornered all fans which wasn't a good thing in long run bcz with time Enigma gaming ascended to top beating both these teams but they didn't really have any player or streamer who could generate fanbase.
So not only OG fans stopped watching due to disappointment but they also prayed on Engima's downfall lol.
Having an introvert like Rawfiul as star player in cloutless org is the worst match possible.
how come one of the biggest regions and a "booming t2 scene" is worse than everyone else? how long do you want to wait? zeta's core has been together for years and achieved nothing but a "miracle run" at reykjavik. not even talking abt dfm, don't care if they changed their roster, at some point u gotta at least show u know how to play the game you're a professional at
A majority of yt English stream watchers are Indians.
It's just that they are such a weird bunch that they look down upon their own regional league and keep saying that they are at best ranked plat lobbies and things like that .
Infact they look down upon local casters too hence our regional stream has no views either only watchparties hv viewers.
Idk when will they realise that they will kill their own scene and ultimately valo from India if they keep being such fair weather fans
Thai is by far the best region currently.
Indonesian valo teams are very good too and even PH is competitive.
Idk why people are so high on Japan and Korean teams, I feel they are much weaker than last year.
Also fancy United may finally do the damage this year and if MLT doesn't fall apart before split 2 begins I expect a playoff finish from them too.
At this point most Indians are not bothered about what happens to Indian franchising spot. If it's gone, it don't bother us. Fact is most of the Indians who are into watching valorant don't even play it in the first place. Those who watch it are either working already or are teen kids who are more likely to opt for other career options. So career wise too valorant doesn't offer much here in India. Indian eSports is doomed. Same boomers are coming back who were in cs 1.6 15 years back. What's the point ? Give this spot to some other deserving country tbh. Also the so called streamers who are promoting valorant in India are just minting money out of gullible kids. There is no player base left here. And those who say there is potential here are just delusional. Orgs are not ready to take full Indian roster. Why would they ? To get clapped by T3 team of SEA ? Sorry my fellow Indians but this scene is done.
