Riot is hurting the whole ecosystem by not doing a Russian league.
Levant -NA top 2 is 9 CIS player (8 if you don't count Lituinia, but in LoL Baltic were put in both), Spain top 1 is full of CIS player, more we wait for a Russian team more in long terme EMEA ascention may end looking like Russian league and this is not good for anyone. (And please fuse Spain with at least Portugal, this is starting to be ridiculous with team retiring every years)

well i do wonder why there isnt a russian league its not like theres a glaring global issue is happening rn. think about the PR catastrophe if they did what ur suggesting it would make GENG's blunder look like a speck.

Valorant player aren't the reason of the war, they are no reason to punish them like this.

And if you want to make a cis league and still sanction you can broadcast it only in Ukrainien and organize it by a Ukrainien TO (You can even organize it by US TO it would change anything since it's online)

Technically they have, but it's in the playin if they loose the grand final against GCCI

My dream would be they are a pre-ascention tournament at the end of split 1 that gives a direct qualifier to ascension if they win (You qualify the 2 team of MENA), and then for the real ascention you qualify the winner of every region (The 10th place, is for the Split 1 qualified)
