if so how was it
I went to this game and It was nuts, watching Lev finally highly surpassing KRU is history of latin val, all that "outside of Kru, the rest is garbage" shit was left behind with that match, and Lev did good performances in Masters and Champions so that final wasn't fluke. 100% one of the best days in my life
not val but i went to IEM Sydney last year (CS2 event)
the crowd was fucking amazing, mainly because aussie crowds are the best. watching the games live was also insanely cool. Every clutch the crowd was screaming and the chants that happened even between games were awesome.
idk how good a valorant crowd would be though... i feel like riot keeps them very quiet and censored. Although, one in Australia would be amazing (we cheer for every team!)
here's some footage from the event, the air was shaking during the grand final:

I went to champs when it was in Los Angeles and I loved every second of it, crowd was insane, wasn't packed all the time but the PRX v EG upper bracket final match was so fun to be there live. And then I went again for grand final, and it was packed, everyone was chanting I had a good time. I also did show up to a regular season game this year, it was the SEN v NRG game in Kickoff, so naturally with it being high stakes and a hyped matchup the crowd was active, but I do think for other teams that aren't maybe Sen and 100T the atmosphere can feel a bit more empty. overall, I haven't had a bad experience, but I do try and buy tickets based on what I think a good match would be rather than to just go to one.
I went to a group stage day last champions (Kru vs PRX, GIA vs EDG, and FNC vs BiliBili), and one at Madrid (PRX vs EDG, and SEN vs TH).
My experience both time were great. It does help when you get to see your favorite team play and when the games are good, but it's still fun no matter what.
Also, the fans make the experience what it is. I have to say EDG fans travel really well, and that GIA vs EDG was just insane to watch in person.
