IMO I think its Rise, and I have my reasons. They have the cards stacked in their favor with Shanks, neptune, POISED, and c4Lypso. They were really close to getting to qualify for S2:C2, but they went against SEN. But in close competition, you have EG and Version1

Renegades probably. Rise is a powerhouse team but they probably wont exist in like a month lmao. Also soniqs is ok

Definitely Renegades, they have beaten almost all the other t2 teams. I also don't think V1 is considered t2 after their run in the most recent qualifier.

if we are talking specifically about NA its TSM(stay mad TSM fans), although with the recent performances of Geng, IMT, LG, and faze being bad the requirements for being tier 1 is kind of low in NA rn, only teams I'd consider tier 1 being Envy, C9B, Xset, SEN, 100t and Geng and Maybe NRG. if its also other regions it might be CE calling in EU.

that's where i have to draw the line. Orgs cant be defined as a T2 team, no matter how bad they are or were. Orgs have hundreds of thousands of dollars in financial backing, they have a massive fanbase, are featured in Primetime matches frequently and often have some of the most respected players in the game. For TSM to be a T2 team is impossible, and the same goes for the rest of the organizations

i completely disagree with this take. it has nothing to do with the org or money. t1 vs. t2 is 100% about performance. consistently strong results -->T1 ; consistently decent results --> T2.

It has to be Renegades. They’ve won 3 NSG events in a row and dominated Soniqs, their closest competitor. Version1 and BBG are probably too good now to be considered Tier 2, depending on who you ask. XSET and TSM are also borderline. Team tiers seem to be a very abstract and contested topic.

No way your saying XSET is anywhere near tier 2. They're the most consistent team in NA, I wouldn't be surprised if they get close to making it to Iceland.

Also I would agree, best Tier 2 team is definitely Renegades followed by either Noble or Soniqs.
