Ok I know that title is very straight up, but why are there barely any black valorant streamers or black tier 1 players? Compared other games, there seem to be less black streamers, im not so sure about the pro scene in other esport games, specifically shooters but let me know if im wrong

I come from the Melee scene and there are more Black people playing that game competitively. I've heard people say its a console vs pc thing but I'm not really sure. The US has only recently started moving away from console gaming and favoring PC gaming.

a shit ton of black ppl just aren't culturally immersed in esports competition and whatnot within fps'. the streamer stuff is prolly because a lot of people in the val community are less inclined to watch a black person play valorant, it is what it is. ive met a lot of funny as fuck black guys in this game and the fact that there's literally no one that comes to mind as a streamer after four years even as I'm doing a bit of research typing this isn't just a random coincidence.
