roster back in March. The squad became one of the strongest in Brazil while with Sharks, notably finishing in the top two of Stage 2 Challengers Finals. With that finish they qualified for the first international Valorant LAN, Masters: Reykjavik where they placed in the top 10.
The team did not reach the same level of success in Stage 3 as it did in Stage 2. Sharks made it to another Stage 3: Challengers Finals event off the back of a second-place finish in Challengers 2, but ended up going 1-2 in matches during the tournament and finished outside of qualification for Masters: Berlin. The team had one last opportunity to qualify for an international LAN with an invite to South America's LCQ, but Sharks failed to make it out of the group stage.
That result completed Sharks' VCT run for the calendar year, giving the team ample time to replace their two open roster spots and find a new coach. light, fra, and fx have all indicated they are open to offers from other teams.
Sharks can continue to compete in tournaments outside of the VCT when they complete their roster.
