i've already talked about this,
GenG is 4th AT BEST right now, i have them 6th.

starting off, DRX just choked vs GenG
and, GenG is better on a neutral play field than T1
first game;
T1 had momentum
result T1 2-1
second game:
T1 played an awful comp map 1, and were coming off a lose, while GenG had momentum and the rematch curse/wyatt's law
4 things going for GenG, ofc they were gonna win
i have T1 18th right now, and if all T1 needed was momentum to beat GenG, a team that should be much much better, then GenG are not top 4 itw

i talked about 3 games in this post, not 2, but anyway.
no i am not only judging those games.
if we go back 1 more game? they lost to RRQ, a very good team, but doesn't help your case
another? 2-0 Zeta, a bottom 10 non-chinese team itw, so this does not justify top 4 itw
another? lost to DRX
another? 2-0 DFM, who is bottom 2 with bleed of non-chinese teams, same as game vs Zeta
another game back? this is week 2 its too far back to matter but they lost to PRX, so if you value this far back, it doesn't help
another game back? its week 1 it should not have any value to anyone.
the only justification for GenG being top 4 itw is current form, so i am countering the argument that they are top 4 itw because of their current form in playoffs.
I still have them 6th lol

respectfully t1 just had all of their chronically inconsistent players completely spike at the same time for their first match

the way they were playing vs geng, they would have beaten any team in the world. but that's a one in a million type moment

that's just not true, gen.g's macro was ass. it wasn't a "they're just hitting more shots" it was more like "we're cluelessly running around and hoping for something to work out"

ima use the tier list, not the ranking, for simplicity sake
I have T1 in B, with Talon, team secret, and SEN
in B+ I have EG, LOUD, C9, and KC(this does not take into account Less getting benched)
in A- I have RRQ and DRX(this doesn't take into account Flip being benched)
i don't think you can justify T1 over any of these teams besides SEN, TS, Talon, and EG, and besides EG, all of these are in the same tier

RRQ had a sub vs GE im not valuing a game played when a team had a sub.
T1 had just switched to Xcc for igling, this was his first game igling. RRQ were not prepped for how XCC igled, and thus they got destroyed. I think RRQ with flip now would beat T1 handedly
