I think it would be great if from vlr.gg we give our own MVP of the tournament, MVP of the finals and Top 10 players of the tournament or something like that. There could also be awards by category of agent. For example, best duelist, best Initiator, etc.

All voted by the community of VLR.

Not good.

A MVP that is community-voted is not about who is the best, but who is the most popular. We have seen that too many times to make the same mistake again.

Ok, but it’s not like we’re giving money to the “VLR-crowned MVP” of Iceland. It’s just a site vote that ultimately carries no weight beyond the site. It can’t be that hard to set up a poll. I don’t see any harm in this, unless I’m blatantly missing something.

I remember the Overwatch World cup MVP, it was xQc who won. I like xQc and his content, I also love his work ethic but god damn he didn't deserve to win that when there was a player who was 10x more impactful (jjonak). 100% agree with #2

CNed is not going to iceland so I doubt it. Maybe he will win the award for the best taking care of the plants in his department
