do you think that EDG is limited by the chinese region?

like say they were in a different region. they;d probs be upper middle but they'd probs improve and not like be perma 5/6th at international events. but in cn they literally kinda are playing ranked with some of the other teams thus they arent improving but maybe even regressing in order to combat some of the teams in china's strats.

honestly think its the opposite tbh
they lost their identity by trying to play like the west
i think they lost their confidence cuz of getting stomped by the west at internationals when in theory they should be "fundamentally better"

yea icic. but to me theres a management and coaching problem. i do believe if edg gets some analysts they do well. the team chem and aim is fine

they just need to play their own game and stop trying to copy the "best comps"
they thrive in chaos but they try to stabilize and control the game
ever since tokyo they tried to improve fundamentally and they regressed cuz of it

just look at FPX , they played reyna chamber yoru double controller on lotus etc and just play with their own identity

Is that why EDG lost to FPX in the regular season, if anything the CN region is just gonna get better players who aren't supposed to be in the league being phased and new teams coming into play from T2 as this is the first year the game is out in CN
