The collaboration will allow both teams to closely work together in terms of content creation, as well as unlock the option for Karmine Corp to use two-way players. Karmine Corp is the third VCT organization to announce an affiliate partnership.
The affiliate system means players can now be substitutes for a VCT team without spending the rest of the season on the bench. Players designated as two-way are able to play in both VCT matches with the main organization, as well as Challengers matches with the affiliate organization, as long as the player does not participate in more than 50% of the VCT team's matches in a given stage.
Currently, Karmine Corp have not officially designated any two-way players. Prior to receiving Riot approval for the partnership, Karmine Corp and Zerance had chosen Yaroslav "Jady" Nikolaev and Lucas "lux9" Danna as two-way players, as confirmed by Jady on vkontakte. As of the time of writing, neither organization has responded to requests for comment on the status of the players or any current two-way options.
Zerance recently ended Challengers France with a 3-4 record and will next play the Promotion/Relegation tournament, Up and Down. Up until week five, the team was second place in the league.
