- ACEND were not a fluke. They beat ENVY and GAMBIT. They also did great in Berlin 2021, except when they choked 12-7 on map 3 to 100Thieves.
- ACEND was good all of 2021. They won Masters 1 2021 EU on top of Champions 2021.
- ACEND literally defined the Jett Raze Omen Cypher Sage comp on Split.
- ACEND kinda invented the omen one-way meta (I think they did). Bonecold was the first to use it, unless my memory is terrible.
- ACEND was also the best Bind team of the year and did things different than other teams, including the use of Omen and Brimstone on maps instead of running the Astra Viper meta in 2021.

Yes, Bonecold was one of the first to popularize Omen one-ways in VCT. Borkum also picked Omen on Split. I remember picking Omen on Split was not very common then because of Astra.
Omen was only picked 3 times in that event.

I think people try to understate the fact that pro games are much more about team chemistry. Every winners in VCTs had some different level of chemistry between. Even if you look at teams like PRX and GENG, they reached the final or were playing consistently well because of their insane team synchronization. The texture in GE was straight ass, Munchkin, and ban the same. Even except for f0rsakeN, other PRX players might struggle on other teams. So give credit to the teams that have won it. Don't just mock or say like it was a fluke run, blah blah
