Challengers has one for bottom tier teams, do it franchising too. Maybe more orgs would be willing to join the tier 2 scene if there was a way to get in outside of just winning ascension.

i thought they played relegation for those spots? if they just get kicked after 2 years that's fucked
From what is known now, ascension winners are in for 2 years then removed. The only teams with a permanent spot are the teams initially picked for franchising. Dont quote me on this tho
I thought the teams chosen to start the franchises would only stay for 4 years, wow
