I am not even asking 2 but atleast give us 1spot on MASTERS next year PLS
we improved so much in 3 matches only i want our teams to get more exposure

There are not enough slots for all regions, CIS has 0 as well, Turkey has 0, if SA teams perform well they will get their own slot sooner or later. If anything, we need larger regions, I don't understand why EMEA gets such a treatment when Korea and Japan combined have the same number of slots as we do but any top 10 EMEA team would easily qualify from JP/KR, it would be way better to have macro regions like APAC(with 5 slots including south asia,sea and kr/jp), South America with 3 slots etc instead of what we have now.
if you seriously believe SA should be gifted a slot to MASTERS after that performance you must be lying to yourself

As a Korean, I agree that SA deserve a masters slot
But don’t attack the KR region tho, people gotta stop acting like the entire region is terrible except for VS
Just because VS are so much better then anything else in the region doesn’t mean the rest of the KR is weak
VS are just miles above anything produced by Asia so far, making the rest of the region look weak when compared, so I think it’s kind of an over statement to call VS “Korea’s life saver”
GE is pretty good, I want to see them more in the future along with other teams from the region but the problem with saying they are able to compete with SEN just because they beat a team who took a map off of sen or smth is a bit of a stretch for me at least. Every team has their off days and their cracked days. I agree though GE shows that the region has a lot of promise and potential. Always felt bad that basically the entire region got screwed in csgo bcz of one lone actor and hopefully riot can continue to give these regions more chances.

It was nice to see GE almost beat F4Q, but they were completely reshuffling the roles on their team.
Asking for a slot directly to masters in absurd.
Something like 3~4 slots for every APAC qualifier in 2022 sounds about right.
You guys DEFINITELY deserve slots in SEA/APAC. GE did have a nice showing. Don't let anyone take that away from you. I really liked what I saw. If the other SA teams are this good, they will have a good shot at getting though qualifiers.
But the guys above arguing for a slot in MASTERS are outta their minds.

getting third at the first international LAN event over an EU and NA representative, and getting out of the hardest group at the second international LAN, beating the #2 EMEA team and only losing to the eventual champions?

Not disrespecting SA region. But wouldn’t it be better if they join a regional VCT like SEA for example. The whole reason GE is doing this good is because they knew the only way to qualify to a major (in this case Champions), is to fight their way through the APAC LCQ. If they decide to just skip over regional VCT and straight to a major this would mean that there would be less competition especially where the only dominant force in SA is only VLT and GE itself. It would be like Japan 2.0 where CR and Zeta is dominating , where in theory they are really good but since the lack of competition in VCT itself they fell easily in international competition.
im worried if they immerge with SEA, teams like team xo, enigma, te cant compete as well as ge for example, theyre good team but sorry to say sea competition is on another level of tightness even x10 couldnt make it out of the group stages of vct masters berlin sea qualifiers. the throne holder for each event is changing everytime so idk about SA in with SEA
The problem with SEA/SA is our subregions are way too small - only limited to 1/2 countries. We need bigger subregions, or do away with subregions altogether to allow for more quality competition without delimiting who we need to play.
Also, EMEA is absolutely massive with a lot of great teams, the competition is cutthroat there, which is why their teams perform a lot well in international events. I don't think high competition is necessarily a bad thing.
Here’s my take, rito is small indie company and gives slots based on viewership, so why not give a slot to the region with the second (and I think Pakistan is like 6th? Correct me) biggest populations in the world? I get that sa isn’t amazing but japan wasn’t amazing at first too and look at how much they improved from international exposure - they nearly took a map off gambit!
