imagine if they stomp Shangai like FNC in tokyo last year, they would get dominated in champs.
If they play their peak level in Shangai then they are fucked up in Seoul

No, they didn't. They played Zeta and Bilibili in groups and they only won against Fut and DRX so out of the 6 matches they played they only won against 1 team that was arguably good because DRX beat Loud in groups

you are acting like the teams who did make playoffs weren't good. fnatic clears all the teams thats not in the top 3 just look at the path everyone who is lower bracket is arguably supposed to be there.

I'm not saying they shouldn't be there, but it was not a hard road I said DRX were the only good team they beat and no Fut were not that great a team they beat KRU who looked terrible in champs, and they beat T1 who was mediocre just like Fut was. Again, Fnatic was not a great team at champs EDG looked just as good as Fnatic in playoffs they played close games against EG the winners of champs and Loud who were top 3 and pushed EG further than PRX did in their GF (PRX were still the better team) and NAVI even though they got knocked out in groups pushed loud to 3 13-11 maps better than what Fnatic did in both they're playoff games. Chronicle was in terrible form and Leo was not in his usual form either.
