I thought they would win!!
It's wild you know Gen G played mind games by picking lotus in upper finals and breeze as decider and sen wasn't ready to play breeze.
And then sentinels played mind games by losing split to prx which made GenG reconsider their 2nd ban either way it was a win win situation for sentinels and sentinels split against prx made GenG ban lotus!!

Madrid was their best chance, now every tournament will only have more and more teams and it seems that APAC only has PRX and GENG as trophy contenders (maybe T1)

Imo, Apac teams are actually highly underrated even teams like rrq and team secret were having close series against gen.g so I personally wouldn't doubt their future success.

ya this is the first year where i felt like pacific was actually at the same level and not just like only 1-2 teams. GenG play a game that’s well rounded and not like the previous top pacific teams, who were always missing something

ppl that don’t watch apac are gonna be very surprised this year

Fr, I was watching the Apac kickoff almost all the matches and even did some vod analysis. Rrq and team secret could definitely surprise a lot of people. Overall Apac teams are actually highly underrated ATM.

i watched every NA / APAC kickoff game and a couple of EMEA ones, anyone that actually watched them wouldn’t downplay them this hard

it’s mainly just ppl that only watch NA or only watch EU that are talking out their ass, but it’s all good because the reactions later will make up for it 😅
