Between Clove and all the prx hate, despite them being the first korean team to make GF and dethroning everyone else in pacific, nobody has been talking about them. Like they are playing the gf in 20 minutes yet the past week and even now everyone just wants to talk about monyet and clove and other dumb shit.

true, they are amazing this tournament, but they just one of the teams that straight up doesn't have clout. Like, no one really cares about them a whole lot. Before this amazing run of theirs I couldn't see a single thread talking about them lol.

Idk man it looks like 60/40 to me, everybody seems to be playing off against them, I wonder what will happen if Zekken and TenZ heat up... though I agree they are the favorites.

doesnt them being the first korean team to make GF not give them a good storyline? It is quite pathetic that DRX own korea yet they have performed worse than both Nuturn and now Geng in terms of international finishes. Surely this would stir up discussion among korean and apac fans? But no everyone just wants to talk about sacking monyet and cloves private parts...

Tbf its cuz PRX is just an insanely more entertaining team to watch + has personalities + everyone wants them to be the APAC team to win a trophy (including me)
Alecks alone has shown more personality than the entire GENG
What I mean to say is that GENG themselves aren't doing much to create hype in their win, they are just there. Doesn't help that the other choice is SEN too lol

Tbf i am not very in tune with korean media, do you know if they are generating much hype in korea? Perhaps they are just disconnected from the english speaking audience. Though I agree they are not kicking up much dust from what I can see. Also I agree PRX winning would be the ideal timeline imo.

Surprised how many people don't think this team is interesting. Lakia comeback story after losing to SEN in Reykjavik. Munchkin a long time player who's shittalking other teams constantly. t3xture and meteor consistently popping off. Karon making it to a masters grand final on his first appearance. Plus every time the camera pans to one of them, there's something funny going on.
