With the exception of Vision Strikers, the level of SEA teams are overwhelmingly higher than KR teams.
FS and PRX are at a higher level than Damwon and Nuturn.
Maybe KR region is so overrated

i think why sea is more prepared for lcq is because the circumstances of how the actual tournament plays out (teams, ping, etc) heavily favors sea, where they get consistently good practice/scrim partners and can play on the fly on high and low ping, where korea doesn’t have many competitive teams to scrim in their region, having to always turn to sea/jp, however sea has just been playing out of their mind here + never really having to play in high/mid ping outside of sea scrims
the conditions of apac lcq arent enough imo to gather whether sea really is better or not, for now kr is still 3rd with sea being very close behind
is korea a bad region for underperforming against sea/sa and even japan? absolutely not, but korea hasnt been up to par with what we expected
however, is the rest of apac catching up? yes, theyre catching up fast
lower ping doesnt necessarily mean they have the advantage because the ping isnt equal. korea might have 40 ping up against 70 in sea, however playing on 70 ping has advantages and disadvantages that 40 doesnt
sea is most likely much more used to having to play 70 ping (sea internet is not always the best) though compared to a korean playing on 40, because korea is always used to single digit or 10/20 ping

There is no more "weak" region in Valorant these days. We do have super teams like GMB, SEN, NV, VS among others, but even they can lose to any team from any other region, including the worst seeding (NV as an example). This is truly wonderful, although I'm Brazilian and support our region, I always value competitiveness. Seeing this coming from India, the SEA and maybe in the future from China brings me encouragement that maybe one day this game will surpass League of Legends.
