Correct me if I am wrong but you have to win 2 more series at a later stage of the competition with much harder teams because you lost 1 series early? This is so gigafked for the second place teams! Specially if it's the group of death! 3/4 quals for playoffs through the group 1st place. What's value of making play-ins so gruesome then? Yo, who designed this sht?

They should've just made a normal 8 team quarterfinals with a map veto advantage for the group winners or something. This is completely broken. The lower bracket teams already have to do so much to prove their worth, they shouldn't be punished so much when the difference between the 1st and second place team is few rounds in most cases.
