I’m waiting on the football coming on rn and the cricket was on.

Can someone explain to what is actually going on here and how points are scored? At the bottom it was saying 136-7 or something and it also said the teams only needed like 13 runs to win or 1 ball or something.

Also is IPL the biggest league in cricket, how does it compared to the English league for example

IPL is like the Premier league in football, it's huge. Also cricket rules are quite complex

Pretty much, no other league has half the star power of IPL, but yeah national teams matter more than IPL in cricket, so you can be the best by being good for your national team too

the difference is that the leagues are at different times of the year so you can take part in all of them if you wish to.

the only regional ones ik are ipl and bbl, then there are ICC, t-20's which are like world cups, tests (last for many days), etc. there are a lot of other cups like Asia Cup, etc. I dont really follow cricket much so some info might be wrong, everyone in India kinda knows how cricket works. ipl and bbl are more entertainment centered while ICC is more like FIFA
