Anyone else feel like all the teams that picked up players from eg are going to be disappointed?

LEV and NRG are good enough teams that even if the EG players underperform a bit it wont be as noticeable or at least the team wont be as disappointed
as for 100T i think Boostio is one of their best players + he's their igl so people wont be disappointed at Boostio but more so the other players who have been in that team for a year now
They played 3 maps in regular season before subbing in demon1
2 were close against C9 who finished like 9-1, and the map against 100T with BcJ was closer than the one with demon1
also rewriting history if you think sentiment was that the players on EG were dogshit after LOCK//IN, the major complaint was that they subbed out BcJ which obviously ended up being the right move
They lost their first three games after losing to talon at lock in. And i know you spend enough time on this website to know that everyone jumps to conclusions too quickly. Also, the reason why everyone complained about bcj being replaced was because everyone thought that c0m should have been subbed out instead and because they forced bcj onto a role which he was uncomfortable on. Now tell me again that people didn't think that everyone thought EG didn't deserve to be franchised and that EG wasn't the worst NA team in the league. Finally, we have never seen jawgemo, c0m and boostio on a team apart from eg, so we don't know it it was potters strats and methods that put eg in positions to shine or if it was the players. So it makes sense that discussing whether these players can perform in a new environment would be interesting.
People were mad that EG wasn't signing big names while everyone else was
EG was mid pre-franchising and people wanted them to ball out and buy the biggest names possible. I kind of understand it, but a lot of other orgs did that and it didn't work.
People hated EG, but I dont think anyone with a brain was saying the players on EG were bad, they just wanted to see EG doing the cryocells/zekken/yay type signings (which is funny because all of those ended up being for nothing).
And yes, people wanted c0m cut, but people are also stupid because anyone who was following c0m knew he was good before EG started doing well. Jawgemo and Boostio have always been solid as well AND Ethan was huge on 100T.
So it makes sense that discussing whether these players can perform in a new environment would be interesting.
"interesting" is a funny word to describe it because its all speculation. Either they will or they won't, but demon1 just needs to click heads, Ethan has proven that he can fit in anywhere, c0m has been good on every roster he's played on, Boostio has a whole new team to lead (with expectations that are already in the gutter), and jawg isn't going anywhere.
Chance of anyone signing these players being disappointed is slim to none.

You have convinced me that maybe I wasn't completely correct in saying that the world champions, no matter how unpredictable their win was, earned that title and the players should get some respect.
But back to the main point, I do think that its not fair to the person who makes a thread to have everyone talk about a different topic.
