according to bodork only 5 lpl teams made it into franchising out of the 10 spots available

JDG: jdg owner basically leaked that they got in
The 5 non-lpl teams are difficult because i dont have much knowledge in that area my guess would be

i mean, if EG leaves esports there probably will be a slot given to the richest and most stable org that wants it, idk if its gonna be sold but riot can 100% sell it if they want to, its a partnership they own the slots. stop crying TSM has a much higher chance of just poaching EG for 11th spot than they do battling rich government funded chinese orgs for a spot there
Riot can sell it if they want to, they just definitely don't want to, the whole point of the partnership system is that there is no buy in so riot can have full control and reap the rewards. There is no way that tsm gets accepted into Americas franchising over orgs like g2 and fly or even smaller orgs like dig and sr, they dont even have an lcs team, if they could get into china franchising it would be a massive opportunity and not something to push aside on the ofchance of taking eg's spot, which will definitely go to g2 btw.
