• Most NA Tier 1 teams dont even have a full 5 so they had to play someone.... and Tier 2 Teams were ready to go and the skill gap isnt that big in NA with Tier 1 and Tier 2 like it is in other regions so its not even that bad.

I mean, tier 2 teams could compete in tier 1. These aren't "rusty pros" each of em played on teams this year and one even won champs so still good competition other teams like g2 won the ascension.

1. money (it is smth we need more of in esports)
2. content (thank god, much rather this than nothing)
3. good for the roster, scrims is one thing but the sen off-season tournament was good practice for them there's no better experience that prepares you for officials than officials
