Why do you guys still think AMD is better than intel in all circumstances? AMD is yet to release a competitive budget cpu with their cheapest cpu retailing for around £280, meanwhile Intel has the 11400f at £200 and the 10105F at around £70.

The 11400f is much better for gaming than the 3600x ( it’s equivalent ) and the 10105F is better than the 3100 ( it’s equivalent )

You guys are stupid!! Get some brains pls guys

There really isn’t much difference anymore. Similar specs for similar pricing and similar performance. Just get whatever you can get for the best value, I got my Ryzen 7 for 33% off.

Yeah they do seem quite expensive, wouldn’t have bought it had I not got it on sale.

Was rocking a i5-6400 for a couple years.

Still £50 more than a 11400f? I’m not saying the 5600x is worse than the 11400f but AMD have 0 good budget chips at the moment and not everyone is spending that much on a cpu

one is an previous gen and 1 is the latest gen yet your comparing. everyone knows the previous gen of AMD is more expensive than the new zen3. your obviously an intel fan boy, as for saying about the price comparrasson. Ill take a B550 motherboard with PCI-e gen4 at the lower price than having to go full Z590 to get it on intel. Yes you may save a couple of quid on the CPU but the entire bundle will cost you alot more.

Its fine ill enjoy my 500fps in valorant, while you will no doubt struggle to get above 300.

amd has less power draw, lower heat output for the same performance. the guy asked what was the best combo, not what was the best for his price range. rn that combo is amd/nvidia.
