They did scrim with eeiu and nature before the announcements and fut changed their roster as well
The Japanese teams and c9 are in a similar/ worse situation though, so it shouldn't be expected for them to place last based on this reasoning
i think most rosters in there are either new or have a stand in (except for emea) that isnt a excuse imo 100t have been practicing with this roster for a while, they just suck as a team rn
