Is an Intel Core i5 12450h processor any good for a laptop or nah (there are reasons why I cannot get a pc instead)

if you want to game on it then its mid at best
will turn into a hand warmer/heater as well

Tbf heating is kind of just a laptop thing in general a lot of the time

their new chips arent good anymore

if you choose laptop,i only suggest AMD.R7-7840HS or R7-8845HS,i think won't be too much gap with 12450h.
