Xdll player from FENNEL was investigated on account for:

Smurfing (before contract) &
Playing on someone else's account (during contract period).

He admitted doing above acts, and the punishment is that he won't be participating in October/November 2023 tournament and subsequent events (Miss out on Red Bull Home Ground).

Investigation are also still ongoing, and Fennel are making a later report regarding the decision and future punishment for specific activities etc, after confirming more detailed facts.

This is kinda similar to CR drama a few years ago, where player (RION) gets suspended or do you think Fennel gonna Fire him like Northeption TenTen situation?

I don't see how smurfing or playing on other accounts in ranked is an issue, many Korean players do it, Buzz even uploaded a video about reaching diamond from his other account. Why does this seem an issue?

Could it be he was playing on an account that belonged to someone else? Alt accounts are fine(ish) but account sharing between multiple people is a bit more frowned upon.

Several other JP cases similar to these have also the same repercussions (as mentioned above); added that we don't know the entirety of the context in what situations he was using his accounts for, contractual obligations and details does matter and not simply becoming a non-issue.

Playing on someone else's account is also against Riot TOS (a fact that honestly more people didn't even know about,) so it's still somewhat baffling that most are brazen enough to do so.

But so many pro players do that on stream, to play with their low elo friends, using someone else's account. I guess this is just a Japanese thing. I guess they get Koreans and Russians to play in the scene so they don't care enough to not develop the Japanese scene.

I'm sure you're referring to this case, but I think the most notable one was when Takej received a 3-month suspension for using another Zeta streamer account to smurf. My Japanese isn't great, but it looks like in that case, zeta decided to suspend him without any action from Riot.

smurf and account sharing are breach of rule in league of legend so i assume its the same for valorant. i got banned for a half year because of account sharing

TenTen situation was a little different.

I don't think there's been precedent for a notable player being dropped for smurfing, mainly just suspensions imposed by the orgs. I can't say for certain, but I'd think the reason they're doing this is largely to try to subvert any more serious actions from Riot or to the company's reputation. I don't think they would drop Xdll for this unless he was either banned by Riot, or the community started to turn against Fennel.
