RUMOUR: RRQ's pickup from NA!?

According to a credible source, RRQ could potentially be signing former Turtle Troop member "Governor" onto their team for the upcoming 2024 VCT season. Governor was a part of the Turtle Troop team that shocked many by avoiding relegation in the NA Challengers league and picking up wins against multiple very competitive teams across the way. It seems Turtle Troop are already testing out a new roster, putting in bdog and moose for Governor and Rossy.

However, this also puts into account the future of Jemkin who was also heavily linked with RRQ and their duelist role. What will the future look like for RRQ should Governor AND Jemkin join the team? I guess we will just have to wait until the search is finished.

Want to say my fault for getting this wrong, even if I did state this was just a rumour. I want to remind people unless I lock it in to take everything with a grain a salt, not finalized. I still apologize profusely though as it seems people thought Governor was locked for RRQ.

The market has been slow LMAO, at least for NA. It seems teams are still waiting on the future of Evil Geniuses and if they will give up their roster or not. This makes the difference between NRG getting Demon1 and/or Ethan or taking Stellar and someone else. Will G2 be able to get Jawgemo or will they have to settle for someone else. Even teams who are not directly involved in any EG players are waiting for the situation to be clear, almost like waiting for a potential domino effect to unfold.
