but they had placed 2nd in Reykavik, people have a bad habit of underestimating a team because of just 1 bad tournament. and they did it again this year after tokyo, even after Loud placed 2nd in lock/in and win VCT Americas

i mean they had one bad game then lost to optic (imagine telling anyone before copenhagen that the grand finalists would meet in a elim match right off the bat), i genuinely would call that just bad luck

Acend was by far the best EMEA team in an overhyped region and cNed and zeek were the best at what they did at the time

LOUD placed second in masters 1 that year and have remained a force to be reckoned with since

EG placed second in the Masters before their win and has 3 close maps in the grand final

There’s so many storylines available, you don’t have to make shit up
